The Google Pixel Buds are now available for purchase and pre-orders have begun to ship to those early adopters. Thanks to Google, we have a review pair in-house to give you a preview before yours arrive or in case you were on the fence about purchasing them. After all, these are Google’s first wireless earbuds and they cost an arguably-steep $159.So we’ll be diving into the Pixel Buds to checkout Google Assistant on them, decide if they sound good enough to replace your current earbuds, and to report back on things like battery life. We’ll see if we can find an opportunity to test the real-time translation magic that Google has baked in as well. Before we get to all of that, though, we figured an unboxing and setup tour would be a good place to start.
