Essential Phone Update Includes Improved Touch Scrolling, Fingerprint Gesture, and More

A new update is rolling out to Essential Phone owners, labeled as build NMJ20D.
The update includes a patch for the KRACK vulnerability (October, 2017 Android security patch), improved touch scrolling when navigating around the device’s UI, plus the enabling of a fingerprint gesture (swipe down for notifications).
The update weighs in at 74MB.
