As of today, Google now supports Wink, TP-Link, LIFX, and Best Buy Insignia products. Below are examples from Google of the types of things you can do with these new integrations:
Cool down and “turn on the fan” with the Best Buy Insignia Wi-Fi Smart Plug
Set the mood for your dinner party and “change the living room lights to blue” with LIFX
Relax and “dim the living room lights” with TP-Link
Get comfortable and “turn up the heat” with Wink
According to CNET, Google is also adding support for August smart locks, Rachio sprinklers, First Alert smoke alarms, Vivent security products (coming in April), select Frigidaire products, Geeni’s line of smart products, and Anova Precision Cookers. Google’s announcement didn’t mention any of these new integrations.
On a related note, Google Home and Google WiFi arrive in the UK on April 6.
