Samsung has a new color for the Galaxy S7 Edge this week, available in select markets beginning tomorrow, December 9. The new color is named Black Pearl, and if I didn’t know any better, I’d say it’s quite reminiscent of Apple’s “Jet Black” for the iPhone 7. Not only that, I’m somewhat shocked Disney doesn’t have a trademark on “Black Pearl.” However, let us not forget that the Galaxy Note 7 was available in a Black Onyx color, well before Apple launched Jet Black.
As described by Samsung, the Black Pearl color is glossy, while radiating “quality and luxury.” The black color “blankets” the entire device from top to bottom, delivering a modern and striking design.
Here are a few renders of the new color for you to look over.

For those interested, do note that the Galaxy S7 Edge in this color will be limited to 128GB models, and we still aren’t 100% on all of the places you can buy one. Once we know exactly where, we will update you.
Black Pearl, eh?
